Nurvia began with our family, and with the birth of our son, Oliver.
Coming together as a family had already given us a close look at the world children are growing up in. We saw how naturally screens, videos, and endless digital content could become part of everyday childhood.
But when Oliver was born, that perspective became deeply personal in a new way.
We weren’t just thinking about childhood as it exists today. We were thinking about the childhood we wanted to help create for him, and the values we wanted our family to grow around.
We want childhood to be full of curiosity.
Technology isn’t going anywhere, and we don’t believe it has to.
But we don’t want the most memorable parts of childhood to happen through a screen.
We want our children to build things.
To ask questions.
To play outside and make discoveries.
To find things they’re passionate about. To use their imaginations. To make genuine friendships. To play, create, explore, and learn to think for themselves.
We want them to grow up believing that the world around them is still interesting enough to deserve their attention.
That idea became the foundation for Nurvia.

Nurvia isn’t about eliminating technology or telling families how to raise their children.
It’s about creating another option.
Something a family can put on the table, bring on a car ride, or reach for during a quiet afternoon that gives a child a reason to talk, think, imagine, notice, and connect.
We want to create thoughtful tools that make those moments a little easier to find, because sometimes a simple question can lead somewhere a screen never could.
